This bakhoor is burned in an incense burner (Mabkhara) as a fragrance for home aroma, aromatherapy, programs for study parties, weddings and can also be scented clothes.

Before the birth of various mixed fragrances, incense was used since ages and became a practice among the Malay community. It is also a tradition of Arabs who use fragrance called ‘bukhoor’.

Bukhoor is made from pieces of agarwood that are processed and then mixed with various other aromatic essences including agarwood oil. Bukhoor is burned to perfume the space.
